The Weekend at a Glance
We chose a camp wedding because we wanted something that's becoming increasingly rare these days: uninterrupted time with the people we love! The greatest gift you've given us isn't just making the trip… it's giving us a whole weekend together.
Thank you for saying yes to this adventure and celebration with us!
Whether you're jumping into every activity or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee or fresh apple cider & watching it all unfold, there's no wrong way to camp. What is important to us, is that you will be there.
Below is a preview of the weekend. The schedule, timing, and activities are still coming together (and may shift depending on the weather), but this should give you a feel for what's in store!
Sunday, October 11
Check Into Camp (approximately 3:00 PM)
Before the festivities begin, you'll have time to check into your cabin, settle into your bunk, and get ready for the celebration.
Wedding Time!
Smorgasbord (approximately 3:00 PM)
We'll kick off the celebration outside! Food, drinks, music, and time to mingle before the ceremony.
Ceremony
We'll say "I do" in a beautiful tree-covered nook next to the lake (weather permitting).
A few notes: As the ceremony will be outdoors, you'll be walking/standing on grass, so appropriate shoes are highly encouraged. Layers are your friend, as October in the Catskills likes to keep us guessing.
Reception
It's time to eat, drink, dance, celebrate, and party the night away!
After Party
Just because the reception ends doesn't mean the party has to. Meet us in the Canteen for late-night snacks, music, arcade games, campfires, s'mores, and more.
Stay as late as you'd like. There is no curfew.
Monday, October 12th
Farewell Breakfast
One last breakfast together before hugs, goodbyes, and everyone heads home with tired feet and full hearts. Check-out will be at noon.
Packing List
A few things that'll help you make the most of your weekend:
✔ Comfortable shoes (you'll be walking on grass, gravel, hills, and camp paths)
✔ Layers! October in the Catskills can be warm during the day and chilly once the sun goes down.
✔ Clothes you can move, play, dance, and relax in.
✔ Your camp spirit! (Competitive spirit is optional... but encouraged.)
Optional, but recommended:
• Sweatshirt or cozy flannel for campfire hangs
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
• A favorite camp game or deck of cards
• Anything that makes your bunk feel a little more like home
